Most of us don’t drink enough water. If you are low in energy and tired, experience constipation, headaches, breakouts, cravings, cramps - reach for that glass of water and drink more water.
Start your day with a tall glass of room temperature water. This is also get your digestive system going and moving. Keep a full bottle 1 l water with you. Bottles like Hydroflasks are great, to avoid plastic bottles and also saving some money. If you are struggling to drink water, try to flavor it with some mint leaves, lemon juice, even a pinch of sea salt (which is also great to replenish any lost electrolytes post workout).
I drink around 2 l of filtered water per day and can totally feel the difference if I don’t drink enough water. However there is no hard and fast rule on how much you should be drinking as it depends on everyone’s needs and lifestyle, I.e. exercise, climate, illness. Check the color of urine, if it is dark, drink more water. If it is pale-yellow or clear, you are good 💦👍
